IDLO-Backed House of Rights Opens in Rio
Cidade de Deus, Rio’s deprived neighborhood made famous by the eponymous 2002 film, is about to host Brazil’s first “House of Rights” (Casa de Direitos).
One of the world's rising economic powers, Brazil has made significant progress in reducing poverty levels. However, Latin America's largest country remains riddled with social disparities, ranking among the 20 most unequal countries in the world. In order to improve access to rights and justice for the most excluded sectors, IDLO has worked with federal and state authorities to support and expand 'Houses of Rights'.

Buenos Aires, 17 de febrero - La Organización Internacional de Derecho para el Desarrollo (IDLO, por sus siglas en inglés) ha presentado un vídeo sobre el derecho a la educación, realizado por jóvenes procedentes de barrios carenciados de la Capital Federal.
