This year's World Justice Forum will take place in The Hague from April 29 to May 2. The forum will focus on the theme 'realizing justice for all' and brings together governmental and non-governmental actors, private sector leaders, and members of the donor community.
IDLO will be making contributions to numerous sessions across the five-day forum: sharing insights, exploring strategies, and helping to develop solutions for advancing peace, equity, and opportunity.

IDLO is supporting a joint effort by the Indonesian National Development Planning Agency, the National Statistical Bureau, and a consortium of civil society organizations comprising the Indonesian Legal Roundtable, the Indonesia Legal Aid Foundation and the Indonesian Judicial Monitoring Society to collect relevant access to justice data and develop a national Access to Justice Index.

The “Justice for All” report launch by the Task Force on Justice Monday, April 29 | 15:30 - 17:00 Summary: The launch of the “Justice for All” report by the Task Force on Justice (co-chaired by Argentina, the Netherlands, Sierra Leone, and The Elders) will be used to define the opportunity for the justice movement in 2019 and the World Justice Forum in particular. 3. Measuring Civil Justice to Improve Outcomes: Evolving Global and National Strategies

Summary: The Sustainable Development Goals call on states to “ensure equal access to justice for all” and this target has helped to catalyze efforts to improve and strengthen strategies to measure and develop indicators on access to civil justice—the most frequent and often most pressing justice problems people face. This session will feature the newly released Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development and Open Society Justice Initiative Guide on Strengthening Access to Justice Through Legal Needs Surveys as well as lessons learned from other data collection exercises. Participants will also discuss a proposed indicator for access to civil justice and strategies to advocate its formal adoption in the SDG process.
