Building on the results achieved through the previous phase, this sub-project aims to enhance the effectiveness of the criminal justice system to ensure improved access to justice for the community. In order to increase community engagement in monitoring judicial processes, the Organisation pour un Développement Intégré au Sahel (ODI-Sahel) is delivering a series of training sessions on access to justice mechanisms for civil society organizations (CSOs) and community leaders; and organizing information and sensitization sessions for community members on available legal and judicial services. Furthermore, ODI-Sahel is delivering capacity development activities on gender-based violence (GBV) and survivor protection mechanisms for CSOs and community leaders to improve support for GBV survivors.
