As part of IDLO’s 2017 Assembly of Parties, the Partnership Forum provided a platform for multi-stakeholder dialogue, between IDLO Member Parties, partner governments, international policy makers and development practitioners. The forum discussed new ideas on critical rule of law issues and facilitating and strengthening partnerships
His Excellency, Mr. Xanana Gusmao, Former President of Timor Leste, gave a special address, titled 'Goodbye conflict, welcome development - a personal experience of what it takes to build a nation'.
