Vice Minister of Justice of Vietnam and delegation visit IDLO

ROME, 25 October 2012 – The Vice Minister of Justice of Vietnam, H.E. Pham Quy Ty, visited the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) with a delegation of Vietnamese legal officials. 

IDLO’s Director-General Irene Khan briefed the Vice Minister on IDLO’s projects in Vietnam, including its work on climate change and Intellectual Property. 

UNFCCC COP18: Increased Support Needed for Climate Change Law and Policy Reform

DOHA, 29 November 2012 - As the 18th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) meets in Doha to move the international climate change agenda forward, the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) urges increased recognition of the vital role national legal and policy frameworks play in enabling effective climate change response. 

Supporting the Transition to the Rule of Law in Tunisia

    
ROME, 20 December 2012 – The International Development Law Organization (IDLO) is working to support the transition to the rule of law in Tunisia. 

In this context, IDLO organized a study visit to Rome for a senior delegation of representatives of Tunisian justice sector to enable them to create synergies and share experiences about the independence of the judiciary.
