Evaluation of the project "Capacity Building Programme to Support the Implementation of the Nagoya Protocol"

As part of IDLO’s continuous commitment to accountability and results-based management, IDLO is pleased to share this Evaluation Brief (summarised evaluation report): “Capacity Building Programme To Support The Implementation Of The Nagoya Protocol”. The evaluation has been conducted by independent evaluation experts, supervised by IDLO’s Evaluation Unit. This exercise utilized a theory-driven, mixed-method approach, in line with the IDLO Evaluation Guidelines and OECD DAC standards.

The purpose of this evaluation was to provide an independent assessment of the project and to measure the extent to which the expected results were achieved; and to identify relevant lessons learned with a view to informing the design and implementation of future projects based on sustainable development, environment sustainability and beyond.
