For the realization of life in dignity, public institutions must conduct public affairs fairly and manage public resources equitably. This decision making and implementation processes relates to governanceIDLO works to strengthen the government, the private sector and civil society in improving their efficiency and accountability as key entities vital to good governance. In doing this, IDLO focus is to:

• Establish and strengthen the public procurement frameworks;
• Enhance the accountability and transparency of governance institutions;
• Support inclusive and grass/root community participation in governance;
• Promote the application of legislative oversight functions.

Goal: To achieve accountability and transparency in the decision making process of public institutions.
