monitoring and EVALUATION Unit
IDLO’s Monitoring and Evaluation Unit aims to contribute to the development and implementation of quality projects and programs and enable a culture of knowledge sharing and learning where organizational strategies and practices are informed by sound research and data.
The M&E Unit has two functions:

normative: to establish monitoring and evaluation tools, standards and guidelines to ensure credible, useful and impartial design and measurement of IDLO's initiatives; and
-
evaluative: to independently evaluate the effectiveness of IDLO programs and policies.
IDLO evaluations aim to promote accountability and learning in order to improve the performance of our programs and policies. The evaluations provide IDLO and partners with timely, objective and evidence-based information on the performance of policies, programs and activities in order to make informed decisions. They also serve to hold IDLO and program partners accountable for performance and results.
