As countries emerge from a period of armed conflict, IDLO supports the rebuilding of their legal systems as an important first step to create a framework for security, peaceful development and continued growth. In politically stable countries, IDLO’s focus is to strengthen the justice sector. IDLO also assists other institutions in strategic and program planning, financial management, financial and program reporting, board selection and development and institutional transparency and accountability.
