Public Procurement
Well-designed procurement systems and laws advance developmental goals. By employing principles of economy, efficiency, transparency and accountability in their procurement processes, governments can contribute to the protection of public interest by ensuring that international public resources are used judiciously in the pursuit of social and economic development.
IDLO believes it is essential that the public officers in developing and transitional countries understand procurement policies, procedures and practices of aid development institutions.
