PARTNERS
IDLO MF project works in collaboration with other entities involved in the microfinance sector. Foundations, non-profit organizations, local professional associations, research centers, universities and law firms support training and research initiatives within the project, primarily through voluntary contributions.
ACCION International
The mission of ACCION International is to give people the tools they need to work their way out of poverty. By providing "micro" loans, financial services and business training to poor women and men who start their own businesses, ACCION's partner microfinance organizations help people work their own way up the economic ladder, with dignity and pride. Together with ACCION, IDLO MF staff is conducting a research to map fundings flow to developing countries. Our aim is to understand the relation that occurs between the implementation of the legislation for microfinance in several developing countries and the fundings flow to the sector.

OMM lawyers analyzed the Chinese legal system with regard to regulations affecting microfinance for the microfinance training program hold in Beijing in 2007.
 
OMIDYAR NETWORK
Omidyar Network is a philanthropic investment firm established by Pierre Omidyar, the founder of eBay, and his wife Pam. Since 2004, Omidyar Network has worked to create opportunity for people to improve their lives, funding businesses and nonprofits that create economic opportunity through access to capital, or use technology to promote transparency and accountability across media, markets and government. Omidyar Network has been the principal funder of IDLO Microfinance Project since 2006.
 
University of Boston - The Morin Center for Banking and Financial Law
The Morin Center and the IDLO MF project have launched an international development law fellowship program for graduates of the Graduate Program in Banking and Financial Law. After their graduation, Fellows will gain in-country experience exploring topics such as microfinance and development of financial services infrastructures. Fellowship opportunities for 2007 include projects in Rome, Italy; Colombo, Sri Lanka; Banda Aceh, Indonesia; and Quito, Ecuador.
