11/12/2009 Seminar Raises HIV law and Policy Awareness in Asia-Pacific Region
SYDNEY - 11 December 2009 - The International Development Law Organization (IDLO) and AIDS Projects Management Group (APMG) concluded a regional seminar to raise awareness and stimulate action on HIV law and policy in the Asia-Pacific region.  The one-week seminar brought together 27 people from 12 countries in the region, including Australia, China, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Iran, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
07/08/2009 Experts call for strengthened legal services to fight HIV discrimination in Asia Pacific
Bali, 8 August 2009 — Sixty legal experts, people living with HIV, and representatives from key populations in thirteen countries in the Asia and the Pacific region today called on governments to fight HIV discrimination by strengthening and expanding HIV-related legal services. The experts attended a seminar on HIV-related legal services hosted jointly by IDLO, APN+, UNAIDS and UNDP.
19/02/2009 Human Rights and Environment Presentation for Iraq Ministry
On the 16 February 2009, Patricia Parkinson, IDLO Associate Program Legal Counsel, gave a speech to a delegation from the Ministry of Human Rights of Iraq on "Human Rights and the Environment".
